Springtrap is one of the main antagonist of the series. He is possessed by the soul of William Afton (also known as Purple Guy), the killer responsible for major events in the FNAF's timeline. His first appearance was in Five Nights at Freddy's 3.

Menu Description

"He makes his way toward the vent opening embedded in the wall in front of you. When he is poised to attack you will see his face looking down at you. Close the vent door to send him away."

Behavior

Springtrap makes his way through the vent system. Once he appears in the vent, the player must shut the vent door in order to avoid his jumpscare.

Once the player shuts the door, they may only open it after they hear a thud, indicating that Springtrap has been reset.

• He, along with Molten Freddy and Ennard, were programmed in the game at 40%.
• In the Fnaf 3's office, you can see him standing in front of the player. Note that he is not a threat to the player.
• He is the only animatronic with 5 digits, except for William Afton. It is because it is a suit made to be worn.
• Him, Withered Chica, Mangle, Ennard and Molten Freddy are the only ones to use the vent system.
